Captain America: Civil War hits movie theaters the first weekend in May, but that’s not all the excitement that May brings for comic book collectors and readers. TBS Comics, Inc. is gearing up for Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 7. TBS Comics will participate once again at both locations in Fort Walton Beach, FL and Pensacola, FL in the annual all-day Free Comic Book Day event, which started back in 2001.
Free Comic Book Day is a very special day for comic book lovers old and new. Free Comic Book Day takes place the first Saturday in May every year. Participating establishments across the country and around the world, like TBS Comics, give away free comic books to everyone who walks into their stores. The goal of Free Comic Book Day is to encourage readers to explore the fun and excitement that comic books have to offer.
